Nikolaevo-assumption Cathedral in Kolomyia

Coloma - a small town with a Hutsul very rich history, it is not surprising that here stands Nikolaeva-Cathedral of the Assumption. It`s pretty fresh religious building, built in 1997 by a famous architect Victor Matsaya in Coloma, and for interior had a hand artist from Ternopil Ivan Goloshin. This cathedral is one of three local Orthodox churches and belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Tourists wishing to visit this wonderful place, will be pleased to know that there are quite comfortable with the parishioners and visitors bareheaded and jeans, you open the door the whole day.

And yet, street, on which the cathedral is so narrow that you have to really try to be photographed against the background of the architectural structure.
