Ceramics Museum Strypko, CBS

In the town of Kosov is a family museum of ceramics Basil Stripko created in 1990. The exposition is located in the house where he lived the famous master and his family.

Vasily Stripko - Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine, self-taught, who managed to develop his own style of work. Followers of his work are already three generations Stripko.

The museum collection consists of the best examples of Hutsul ceramics with the addition of innovative technology and creative highlights of the author. As the dye for manufactured items wizard uses white and red clay deposits of which are located in the Kosovo. The colors of finished products traditionally dominated Gutsulschiny white, brown, green and yellow colors. They symbolize the air, land, green grass and sun, respectively.

The museum exhibition presents a large number of dishes: plates, Glechik, spoons, cups and candlesticks, sculptures, earthenware pot, and many other household items.
