Museum, Chaplinka

History of the museum
It opened not so long ago - in 1980. Initially called historical museum and worked on a voluntary basis. The idea to establish a museum owned Chervonopolyanskoyi school director Ivan Maximov. Concurrently, he became the first director of the museum.
Ivan helped collect exhibits his colleagues, students and parents of students. Found a lot of interesting things, towels, tools, household construction, clothing utensils. When all this began to organize, it appears that not enough exhibits for the exhibition, so the search continued.
After 8 years (1988) the museum was awarded the title "National Museum".
Museum exhibits
Currently, the museum placed in eight halls. Here is the history of the region from ancient times, revolutions, World War II and until today.
In one of the rooms recreated interior farmstead steppe of Ukraine. Here you can see pryalku, ancient wooden cradle, chest, dishes.
There is a permanent exhibition entitled "Chronicle of the Communist Inquisition", dedicated to the horrors of 1932-33.

Chaplinka museum is located almost in the center Chaplinka - on Lenin Street. Its doors are open to visitors every day (except Saturday and Sunday).
By Chaplinka can be reached with Kalanchak (railway station), the distance between two settlements - 16 km. Or drive to the town of Kherson, however, is far away - about 117 kilometers.
