Lavrovskii monastery St.Onufriy
Close to the border with Poland , 106 km from Lviv , there is a small village Lavrov. It is noteworthy one of the oldest shrines in Western Ukraine. This Basilian monastery Lavrovskii St.Onufriy. Thick walls immediately make it clear that he was and defense construction.

In the underground necropolis of the monastery buried Moldavian princes Constantine Bessarabia and Stepan Petrichayka. Here lie the Jerusalem Patriarch Macarius Ligarides, Metropolitan of Kiev, the Greek-Catholic bishops.
At the monastery is growing 700-year-old oak tree Prince Lev Danilovich, who, according to legend, was related to Laurus, the founder of the monastery.
