St. Nicholas Monastery, Bohuslav

St. Nicholas Monastery - one of the most ancient monasteries of Kiev region, which is located in comely setting on a hill on the banks of the Ros. The monastery was founded in the 17th century under Tara during Tatar raids was moved by monks under Bohuslav . Throughout most of its existence it has twice passed Uniate Basilian, but still was returned to the Orthodox.

At the monastery preserved stone structures erected in the 19th century, among them: Church of the Resurrection (1866), religious school premises, which in Soviet times was located hostel and orphanage. By visiting this monastery, you also have the opportunity to walk through the wonderful park and relax not only the soul but also the body.
