St. George's Church, Selyshche

In the Ukrainian heartland can find a large number of incredibly beautiful churches. One of them is St. George`s Church in the village of Selishche . It was built in 1910-1914 years at the expense of Cossacks zemelschikov.

This church is a shining example of religious architecture of the 20th century Cossack. Extraordinary power and fundamental building give 5 domes, of which 4 - auxiliary. They are not inferior in size of the main dome. Type of construction fully justifies its name, reflecting the strength, determination and justice George. Material for the construction of the church served as oak, which, as you know, is a symbol of wisdom, strength and eternity.

Today, St. George`s Church is an active temple. In its interior there are beautiful murals and carved iconostasis. This stunningly beautiful building that symbolizes power and inviolability of human belief.
