Zgurovsky park
Ukraine is famous for its abundance of beautiful parks, most of which were created in the 18-19 centuries. One of the biggest arboretums Ukraine is located in the village of Zgurovka . The park is 309 acres.
Kiev Vice Governor P. Kotchubey founded it in the 19th century as a gift for his wife S. Vyazemskaya. The park was laid out around the ducal palace was built, where there are 40 rooms, a huge mirror hall for receptions and valuable library. Finca in Zgurovka was the favorite place of the whole family.
Zgurovsky park has landscape planning, where it grows 382 species of trees and shrubs, currently preserved only 150. On all sides it is lined with windbreaks. The main attractions of the park are: the 400-year-old oaks, pines in the form of a lyre, pine as a trident and Hivrinskoe sea, which is located in the center of the park.
Unfortunately, up to now nothing of the palace has been preserved, but the park is helping us to dream of greatness and splendor of the palace. Walking along the paths that lead to the ponds, you will feel the beauty of these places.
