St. Isidore, carelessness

St. Isidore, carelessness

In the village of carelessness of the Kiev region is a Roman Catholic church of St. Isidore, erected in 1870.   The building of the church was built and decorated in   Neo-Gothic architectural style.

Neo-Gothic or "new Gothic" was the most popular in the Victorian era. At that time, the construction of churches, cathedrals and churches in this style was more commonplace than rare. This style was common in many European countries. Not spared New Gothic fashion and Ukraine. A striking proof of this is the construction of a Roman Catholic church in the village of carelessness.

Church of St. Isidore   in its original form has survived to the present day. Save spontaneity, beauty and luxury Gothic Revival helped reconstruction of the temple.

The building of the church is located in the old cemetery. Evidence of this is the tomb with a stone cross, standing a few meters away from him. Traveling to the Kiev region, visit the Church of St. Isidore and appreciate fully the neo-Gothic style of religious buildings.
