St. Michael`s Church, Pidhirtsi

St. Michael`s church was built in 1742 in the village of Pidhirtsi Kiev region. Architectural landmark was built at the initiative of the abbess Frolovsky temple on the site of the monastery of Peter and Paul.   Feature Michael`s Church is its wooden structure, which is based   - Cleto (logs laid crosswise). This monument is an architectural heritage of national importance.

Spiritual wealth and unusual atmosphere involve the church as worshipers and tourists alike. Temple survived ruthless times and survived the fire of war and revolution.   The church is still preserved a unique painting and carving of the times. Next to the construction of the bell tower is a bunk with three domes. The church stands in the corner of the colorful nature of the Kiev region.
