Church of St. Barbara Kapytolivka

Church of St. Barbara in the village Kapitolovka Kharkiv region began to build in 1819. Construction lasted for 4 years and in 1823 the church was opened. His   she received the name in honor of the landowner Barbara   and it was built near her grave. The temple built at the expense of her husband, Lieutenant-General Kotlyarevsky and his mother K. Enohinoy.

The architecture of the temple is made in the classical style. The interior is represented by painted appearance of saints and iconostasis. The parishioners, visiting the temple, turn to the saints and pray for the salvation and for the health of loved ones.
