Michael Yangel - known Soviet designer in the field of rocket and space engineering. Twice in his life he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor. Who is Yangel
Mikhail Kuzmich was born in a family farmer in one of the villages of Irkutsk province in 1911. He is a graduate of the Moscow Aviation Institute, from which he graduated with honors. Since 1944, he worked in the Armenian CB. In 1954 he moved to Kiev, where until 1971 he worked as chief designer of the Dnepropetrovsk CB "South." He was awarded numerous awards and medals, including the Lenin Prize of the USSR, USSR State Prize, the prize and gold medal named after S. Korolev and others.
