Museum Basil Kasiyan

The Art Memorial Museum of Basil Kasiyan represented life and career of academician and People`s Artist of the country VI Kasiyan who founded an art school Ukrainian graphics of the 20th century. I solemnly museum was opened December 15, 1982.

The exposition is located in five rooms, two of them displayed a creative way of the artist, and the other three are graphic works Kasiyan Basil and his disciples heirs. The exhibition also presents and personal belongings of the outstanding figure: art books and books about the artist, his personal library, manuscripts and objects, which he enjoyed. The building of the museum kept a huge collection of photographs and documentary materials that tell about the life and work of Basil Kasiyan.

The museum is housed in a one-story building, which has an original wooden terrace. Entrance to the museum building is clearly visible from the street.
