House Society Sokol, Sniatyn
Society "Falcon" - a sports movement that spread at the turn of 19-20 centuries throughout Eastern and Central Europe. The legacy of this community make up the ancient so-called "House of Pioneers", lavishly decorated in the style of 19th century architecture. One of these architectural structures preserved in the city Sniatyn.
The history of the movement "Sokol"
Creators of the sports society "Sokol" became a resident of the Austro-Hungarian Prague Fyunger Jindrich and his sister Miroslav Tyrsh. They are thinking of a strong state of mind and body of the younger generation even in 1862. Over the next few years, the movement was supported by the Serbs, Slovenes, Macedonians, and later the Poles. In 1894 there is the first Ukrainian "Falcon" in Lviv. In 1905, adjacent to the movement of Russia. Two years later, the national community united in Slavic Union.
