Museum room Marika Pidgiryanki
Tlumach small provincial town, located 28 kilometers from Ivano-Frankivsk, quite ancient: the first mention of it dates back to the year 1213.
In areas Tlumach at different times were born sculptor M. Brynsky, Ukrainian linguist B. Kobylyansky, translator and poet K. Klimkovich also lived here and worked as a teacher poetess Marika Pidgiryanka. In 1991, when the district children`s library was founded a museum-room Marika Pidgiryanki (real name - Maria Lehnert-Dombrovskaya), dedicated to her life and works.
Basically Pidgiryanka wrote for children. The main themes of her poems - chanting the beauty of his native land, Carpathian nature, dreams of a bright future. At most of the poetess she had a large family, which grew four children: three sons (Ostap, Roman and Markiyan) and daughter Daria.
The museum exposition presented documents and personal belongings of the poet, editions of her books, written with his own teaching materials. Additionally, the exhibition gathered close in their area of work of painters, sculptors and composers, and in 2006 a museum-room gained another stand.
