Ecotourism Visitors Center, Yaremche

This service is ecotourism visitor center of the Carpathian National Nature Park, located in Yaremche. It was created specifically for the development of eco-tourism in Ukraine.

Exhibits visitor center

It is located in an old house, erected for forestry in the days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. You will have the opportunity to acquire the necessary maps and materials that will be helpers in the upcoming journey. And, you can learn more about the National Park, see the map-chart of the Carpathians. One of the most remarkable exhibits - the layout of the Montenegrin mountain range, part of which extends to the natural park.

You will see exhibits on ethnography, telling about the wealth of flora and fauna, about the life and culture of the locals. There is a room-museum of Hutsul. In addition, the museum carried out interesting excursions for children. They show illustrations of beautiful corners of the National Park. Add that to the ethnic cen- ters undeveloped living room, bedroom and kitchen.

How to get there

By train you can get there from Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv. Buses run from Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia. There is also a regular bus from Ivano-Frankivsk. Public transport runs from the regional center to a tourist town every half hour. Distance - about 65 km. If you have private transport, you can drive along the road Ivano-Frankivsk - Uzhhorod.
