Alpine arboretum

This region will delight lovers of peace and solitude of the forest: here come the lovers of unspoiled nature.

Highland Park is situated on the slopes of Gorgan, in a strip of spruce forests. This is the only park of Ukraine, situated so high - one hundred meters above sea level!

The park was created in the late 60s. It dropped more than 200 species of native species, exotic trees and shrubs. The park has alpine mineral spring containing hydrogen sulfide.

How to get there

First should get to Ivano-Frankivsk, and then take the bus to Nadvornaya. There will have to change trains to Bystrica. If you get your own car, then you need to follow the road H-09 (from Ivano-Frankivsk to Nadvornaya), then turn in the direction Bystrica.
