Polonyna Rushchina is behind a ridge Sivulja. This flat fields stretching over one kilometer. Summer Polonyna densely covered with vegetation, in the air the fragrance of mountain herbs. In winter, the meadow wrapped white snowdrifts.

Interesting Facts

• On the southeast side Rushchina is the source of drinking water. Immediately starts the river Bistrica.
• At the opposite side of the meadows are the ruins of the Polish fortifications. Once the building has played the role of the command post until 1939.
• Another remarkable place meadows - open Inferno. There is still preserved the old boundary pillars of the Polish-Czechoslovak border.
• Polonyna Rushchina located at the crossroads of many tourist routes. There often stop for the night.

Routes through the meadow

Routes that pass through the meadow Rushchina often use hikers. You can go from the villages:

• Staraya Guta. Distance from the meadows is about 15 km.
• Bystrica. Also about 15 km.
• Osmoloda. The village is located 19 km from the destination.

Then you can head to the meadow Pocar, moving ridge Sivulja, and towards the mountains Igrovets array Gorgan.

There is an option to go to the side of the ridge through the previously mentioned Tovpishirka open Inferno, and then on Bystrica or pass of Legions.

How to get to the meadow

The best way to visit the meadow Rushchina - go on a camping trip. Many routes originate from the villages of Old Guta and Bistrica. Before you can reach the villages of Ivano-Frankivsk on a voyage of regional buses.
