Nicholas Fair 2015, Carp
Fair with an interesting history held every last Saturday of July in carp, Chernihiv region. The event is named after St. Nicholas.
Since this holiday is associated legend.
Back in 1848, the town enacted plague that did not spare anyone.
Searched medications and nothing helped until he brought the icon of St. Nicholas from the same monastery, located in the loose. First image met all the carp, and then put in Michael`s church.
All who stand on their feet came to worship the icon. The next day, locals walked in procession around the city with the icon at the head. And the miracle happened - the disease subsided! Since then, the local population is celebrating a big day Mykolaiv, arranging Fair. Later this day and timed City Day.
At the fair you can:
- enjoy a theatrical carnival procession;
- visit reed inns and field kitchen;
- eat barbecue and dumplings;
- a ride on the carousel;
- dance under the cheerful music;
- consider ancient spinning wheels and wheel;
- read the blacksmith and pottery;
- listen to a concert;
- see grand fireworks;
- buy souvenirs and products from the vine.
In Nicholas Fair in Koropi going locals and guests from many cities of Ukraine. This bright event memorable for everyone. Visiting the fair will be a great opportunity to communicate with friends and find new friends escape from the urban bustle and monotonous routine.
As part of the fair will host a festival "Golden carp", which will feature the best fish dishes.
