Festival "Woodstock Ukraine 2015" - Svirzh Castle, Svirzh
Rock music festival "Woodstock Ukraine" this year held in Svirzh castle , 40 kilometers from Lviv .
The event was first held in Ukraine in 2012, and then it took Vinnitsa .
The festival was founded in 1969 and was held in Bethel (New York). While young people were concerned about the war in Vietnam and, therefore, wanted to show his true attitude towards those events.
Initially planned to make the festival paid, but seeing such a large number of visitors (about 500,000), the organizers decided not to take the money. In 1995 the Festival reopened in Poland, and from there was transferred to Ukraine relay. As already mentioned, the 2012 event was held in the winery and in 2013 - in Odessa .
In 2015 "Woodstock Ukraine" will be held in Svirzh castle from 7 to 9 August.
Visitors will receive:
- Many diverse music artists and groups of different areas and from different countries.
- The feature of this festival is that it is free and organizes its Ukrainian Charitable Foundation "Heart to Heart". Their goal - and thanks to the promotion of volunteerism in Ukraine.
- At the event will run encampment, which also is free.
- Comfortable conditions for guests - kitchen, public venues, shops, medical center, a place to recharge phones and many other amenities.
- Various competitions, fun, great mood - all waiting for you at the festival in August.
In 2015, the motto of the event will be the slogan identical to the first Festival 1969 - "Peace, Music, Love!". It aims to unite young people from all over the country and pay attention to current events.
