Exhibition Artem Volokitin "Operating Guide", Kyiv, Kyiv
In May Dymchuk Gallery presents a solo exhibition of the artist Artem Volokitin Kharkiv "Operating Guide", which this year takes part in a group exhibition at the Ukrainian pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale.
Interestingly, the work Volokitin "Sight-1" - only a painting exhibition in the Ukrainian pavilion, which included works of young (by international standards artists up to 35 years) Ukrainian artists.
In fact, "Sight-1" as works previously shown at the exhibition "Fear and Hope" in PinchukArtCentre , connected by common story and convey the whole range of emotions experienced by the artist, a citizen of the state, involved in a military conflict.
The new project continues Volokitin stated earlier theme - horrific images of natural phenomena to which man realizes his kintsevist. On the one hand, it is fascinating physics of the process, he reveals a painter. On the other - the image of explosions - a kind of residence everyday reality that overwhelms aggression.

Artem Volokitin - Ukrainian artist. Born in 1981, lives and works in Kharkiv. In 2005 he graduated from Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. Winner of I degree Eidos Visual Arts Competition (2007), winner of the festival of youth art projects Non Stop Media (2008), winner of the first prize of the competition PinchukArtCentre Prize (2009), Prize Future Generation Art Prize (2011). In 2010, was trained in the studio of Antony Gormley in London. One representative of the National pavilion of Ukraine at the 56th International Fair of Art La Biennale di Venezia (2015).
