European Heritage Days in Lviv, Lviv, L'viv
In late September, the sixth European Heritage Days will be held in Lviv. The theme of the event will be the gardens and parks of ancient city.
City heritage - is not only old streets and buildings. Green spaces are equally theme of cities. They also have a story to tell about the life and the life of residents.
Location: Parks and squares of Lviv.
Date: September 24-25, 2016.
Cost: Participation is free, but pre-registration is required.
The event program
European Heritage Days in Europe held annually each September. This is the period when little-known ancient buildings suddenly opens its doors to share the secrets that for centuries kept in their walls.
The official launch of this year tradition - 1991. The event aims to attract attention and promote cultural heritage cities to demonstrate its significant role in the development of modern society.
The program involves the active participation holiday guests:
- hiking and cycling gardens, squares and parks of the city;
- vsemiska game quest;
- exhibition of photographs of historical events that took place on the green areas of the city.
