The gallery Parsuna 4 March 2015 offers a unique exhibition of paintings by Leonid Bernat and dolls of the Ukrainian artists "Ark".

They look down peacefully with his wondrous parallel worlds that good magicians of the favorite children`s fairy tales. But this is only a first impression of the artist`s works. If you dig deeper, it will open levkas rich metaphors, allusions sacred and philosophical reflections, which the author manages to express mild language vivid colors and luminous texture.
As Eastern sage, Bernat unobtrusively harmonizes the space around them, fervently distorts reality, if it is too serious, and her cheeks ruddy gracefully if it is too pale. However, as it turned out, sincerity and ease - is not only an art style of the author, but his inner attitude.
The leitmotif of the exhibition is the two-meter installation - "Ark". As if the door is open, hanging from the wall behind the massive iron ring. In the middle of the door - a great book, and can icon, which depicts the face. On the curly surface is a large number of wooden small animals, which created a great master - Ivan Noah.
To the question, how do you manage to create such a rare bright work and maintain internal optimism - Leonid said, "You know, I did nothing special to do not. I went from birth sunny disposition. Then that feeling buffed to book graphics, particularly in children`s illustration. I do not mind tight supply in art, but today the world is already filled with aggression, and I do not want to play one-sided ".Leonid Bernat was born in 1962 in Kiev. He graduated from the Republican Art School. Taras Shevchenko, then in 1990 - Department of Graphic Design of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture.
Since 2000 - member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Illustrated children`s books, particularly books Agnes Barto. Also designed the first publication of the Ukrainian writer and playwright Bogdan Zholdak.
His work has been exhibited in Germany, Austria, Canada, the United States, Bulgaria and Russia. Lives and works in Kiev.
