"Art Detective". New set a course

For children 9-10 years PinchukArtCentre announces admission to the educational program "Art Detective".
This fascinating study detective game introduces young visitors to the art center and their parents to the world of contemporary art, its most famous representatives, works and ideas. Classes will be held every Saturday from 7 March to 25 April 2015.
"Art Detective" - a game that lasts at home after class, which promotes closer communication between family members, encouraging parents to do with kids problem solving and improving understanding between different generations. The course will consist of eight sessions that allow participants to better understand what a museum is and how it operates, what art is and how it happens, and learn about the most high-profile crimes in the arts. The course children will hold an art detective investigation to be supplemented exciting tours, educational lectures and homework for the whole family.
On Saturday, March 7, at 15:00 PinchukArtCentre invites children to the first classes of the "Art Detective", during which participants will become familiar with the concept of the museum as an institution, its history and organization system. The event will take place on the 5th floor of the art center "Educational room." Do spend guides PinchukArtCentre Anna Potter and Laura Ishchenko.
Participation in class is free. Pre-registration is required. The maximum number of children in the group of 15 participants. Registered users entry to the art center without queuing.

- March 7: Introduction to detectives. Discussion of the concept of "museum" and tour;
- March 14: Secrets and Symbols art. Key to understanding;
- March 21: The mysterious crimes in the arts: Who Stole the Mona Lisa?
- March 28: Profile of the artist;
- April 4: Materials: Laboratory detective;
- April 11th: Ideas. Art-examination;
- April 18: The final investigation;
- April 25: Joint investigations - tour for parents.
