Palace of Count Didushitskogo, Yezupil

In a small village Yezupil in Ivano-Frankivsk region located Earl Dzieduszyckis Palace, built in the 19th century. Characteristics repeatedly changed owners and now is located the regional children`s neuropsychiatric sanatorium.

The history of the palace of Count Dzieduszyckis

The construction of the palace in this place were three households, whose history can be traced back to the first half of the 16th century.

Wojciech Dzieduszycki - politician, writer and professor of Lviv University. He came from a kind of nobility, which until 1848 owned the town, and later were the largest land owners, real estate and other property. We know that many generations of ancient family were good military leaders, philanthropists, scientists, artists. Count Dzieduszycki village received an inheritance after the death of his mother. Having a good financial support, the count is not particularly interested in farming. As ambassador to the Sejm, did a lot for the development of Galicia.

The palace is located in the old zamchischa, well round it traces walls. Around the palace stretches incredible beauty of the park, which still grow exotic plants: lerodendron (tulip tree) and ginkgo, which are brought from distant lands here Dzieduszycki.

Now the palace from 1957 is the regional children`s neuropsychiatric sanatorium. Before that there was even a district committee of the Communist Party. The premises are well kept, although it was rebuilt.

Architecture palace

In the main building of the estate Dzieduszyckis has established living rooms, in the old park a monument to soldiers who died 1941-1945. It also arranged swings. Within the park is a one-story house with a large park around the estate offers spectacular panoramas.

Palace Dzieduszyckis Yezupoli is in the park, on the street Stepan Bandera. Driving directions can be by public transport from Ivano-Frankivsk or own transport. Move N09 road from Ivano-Frankivsk, return to the track P20, drive Silets and go to the village Yezupil.
