The Dnipropetrovsk Art Museum

Dnepropetrovsk Art Museum is one of the oldest museums in the whole of Ukraine. It was opened in 1914 with the support of members of the artistic committee Ekaterinoslavskogo scientific society. Today, the museum is very popular. In addition to permanent exhibitions can regularly visit a variety of exhibitions of contemporary and classical art.

Museum`s collection includes about 8,500 paintings and drawings, sculptures and objects of decorative arts from the 16th to 21st century. Permanent exhibition presents the works of such great artists as Shishkin, V. Borovikovskiy, I. Levitan, K. Korovin, Repin, Serov, and many others. One of the main collections of the museum are paintings Ekaterinoslavskogo artist M. Sapozhnikov, as well as works of the masters Petrikivka decorative painting.

Visit Dnepropetrovsk Art Museum can be every day except Friday, from 10 to 17:30. Ticket price - about 20 hryvnia.
