The Zhashkiv History Museum
Museum there continuously for more than 45 years, preserving for future generations the memory of the past, customs and way of life of their ancestors. If you visit Zhashkiv, MKO is its attention local museum, which since 1991 has the status of a state.
The museum`s collection in Zhashkov
The museum`s collection is exhibited in 6 halls where acquaint visitors with the history of the region from ancient times to the present.
- In the first room are exposed archaeological finds from ancient times to the beginning of the National Liberation War 1648-1656 years. Feature of the room is a stand dedicated Dryzhypilskiy little-known battle of 1655, which took place near the village Ohmativ.
- The second hall tells about life Zhashkivschyny in the 19th - early 20th century. He talks about life fully then the peasants, their customs and rituals. There is room Ukrainian ethnology and conduct tours. The exhibition hall exhibits ending time of establishment of Soviet power.
- On the tragic events of 1930 tells a third room. Here are the lists of deceased residents of the area as a result of collectivization, famine and Stalinist repression. - The fourth room contains the story of World War II and the participation of residents Zhashkova.

- The last sixth room is dedicated to modern achievements of the area, its education and healthcare. It also posted fine art gallery with works by local artists.
Zhashkivskyi History Museum
1969 is the year of the founding of the museum, when opened the first exhibition as a public initiative. Over time, the museum has grown and in 1988 moved to new premises of the former library. In 1991 the museum provide a status of the state, which greatly contributed to its preservation and development.
Therefore Museum conducts scientific work, regional exploration in the area. Museum research were little known to the prominent figures of the district for various reasons were not known during the Soviet period:
