St George Church
Church of St. George was erected in memory of the lost employees AMIA. Leaders of the local police, the Archbishop Irenaeus in 2001 during the construction of the temple was laid in the base of the capsule with some holy relics of the Great Martyr George, who were brought from his native Israeli city of Lod.
The history and architecture of the church of St.. George
St. George is the patron saint martial spirit. Temple named after him by chance, since it was erected in memory of the brave police officers. At the base of the church is a memorial plaque with the inscription: "The temple of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious, and Dnepropetrovsk Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Built in 2001 in memory of the fallen members of the Interior, the Office of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region on donations of police officers, employees of enterprises, institutions, organizations and residents of Dnipropetrovsk. " Before the altar on the wall are two plaques with the names of workers who died in the line of duty.
Asset and a valuable painting decoration of the church is, the creation of well-known artists Dnepropetrovsk A. Garmash, S. Borowski and A. Maltsev.

Located on Temple Street in the cozy Borodinovskom Red Square neighborhood of Dnepropetrovsk . Nearby is the building of the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
