Museum of Folk Architecture and Life Middle Nadnepryavshina

Museum of Architecture and Life of Central Naddnepryanschiny located on the outskirts of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky and is a member of the National historical and ethnographic reserve "Pereyaslav" .

Topics open-air museum is quite extensive, it tells the story of Naddnepryanschiny since the time of the late Paleolithic to the Kievan Rus. Here are the unique sculpture "stone woman", funerary sarcophagi and the first stone sculptures of human inhabited Ukrainian steppes. Also played a variety of people`s homes, Polovtsian sanctuary built for rituals of animal sacrifice. Most of the exhibits - the original objects found during archaeological excavations.

Of particular interest are the rural houses and public buildings 16 - 19 centuries. Subjects houses corresponds to the profession master of the house: the priest, the weaver, potter, carpenter, and even quack. Recreated buildings parochial school, the village council, the church Cossack era, the bell tower, tavern. The complex has 15 windmills that give the museum a special touch.

The perfect complement are 13 thematic museums - arts and crafts, towel, herbs, bee bread museum and others. Altogether there are 122 monuments of architecture and more than 30 thousand exhibits of material and spiritual culture of the Ukrainian Central Naddnepryanschiny.
