Ethnographic Museum
The Ethnographic Museum is located in the former house of the merchant Halperin. The building was built in 1905 in the then fashionable Art Nouveau style and is one of the main cultural sites of Mogilev-Podolsky . The museum widely exposed, reflecting different periods history of Ukraine.
Among the exhibits are well represented archaeological T ripolskoy culture. All kinds of boilers, vessels, and other household utensils tell a lot about the culture of life of those times. In the armory exhibits, all included in the history of Ukraine: Turkish weapons Cossack arrows, weapons of the Great Patriotic War.
There are rooms devoted to a collection of paintings, antique furniture and minerals. But of particular interest is the department of the museum dedicated to the culture of Podolsk. Here you can see Podolsk clothing, all kinds of instruments of domestic life. I would like to mention a collection of arts and crafts masters skirts. Embroideries fine work you can enjoy for hours.
