History Museum (Mogilev-Podolsky)
Near the center of Mogilev-Podolsky is a small building in the Art Nouveau style, known as the "House Halperin." It is this building since 1928, he has been museum.
It is noteworthy that a merchant`s house in the central part of the city never became a hotbed of historical events. The walls of the future museum were only silent witnesses of relations between members of the family, who lived at various times in the building.
Today, in addition to the original architecture of the house, the museum is intriguing and its contents. In its halls and warehouses are more than 6,600 exhibits, each of which tells the story of great men, city, or historical events.
The permanent exhibition of the museum is divided into three parts - nature, history of pre-Soviet and Soviet periods. Besides old household items, tools, here you can see the revolutionary banner and weapons during World War II.
In the hall is an art gallery museum. Adjacent to the Ukrainian painters paintings exhibited creations by Georgian and Russian artists. Many of the paintings are not copies and presented exclusively in the museum of Mogilev-Podolsky.
The museum takes visitors on weekdays from 9 to 17 hours.
