Czacki Palace

Czacki Palace

Chatsky family palace is located in the heart of the small village of Serebrintsy. Presumably, the estate belonged to one of the brothers of the famous historian and journalist Tadeusz Chatsky. In the late 1700s the family with Polish roots had a huge impact on the lands of modern Vinnitsa region. His famous house-palace Chatsky built on a grand scale.

The building is located on the shore of the pond, which continues to exist here to this day. Around the estate stretches neat garden park. Unfortunately, survived only a small part of it. Most of the land was given to the village council Serebrintsev. Since the second half of the 20th century, the local administration and settled inside the building. It takes a few rooms of the old house, while the other part continues to be empty.

Despite the uniqueness of the palace and its great historical significance, it has never been repaired or restored. Guests can move freely through the empty halls, which continue to amaze with its elegant pomp and ceremony of the remains of the interior. Preserved stucco with curly mythological heroes perfectly with decorative columns inside and outside the building, wreaths, flowers and cupids - all this is the perfect illustration of the noble taste of the late 18th century. Most of the palace is impressive marble semi-circular room, which is quite well preserved. It lacks only the marble fireplace, which was a central subject in the interior of elegant rooms. Even the color of the walls remains the same has been two hundred years, telling guests about the old palace of beauty and well-being of its owners.
