Memorial Complex to Fallen Soldiers during the Great Patriotic War

Memorial Complex in Yellow Waters is set in the memory of those who gave their lives for the liberation of this region.

Memorial consists of a central element - the eternal fire, and more than 30 plates containing the names of fallen soldiers. On the right side are written the names of immediate liberators Yellow Waters, who lost their lives here. Plate located on the left of immigrants from the Yellow Waters, who died in the Great Patriotic War. This place is both a mass grave.

The liberation of Yellow Waters was 20 October 1943. This day was a day of joy and at the same time freedom, day of pain and loss. Here forever asleep mortals sleep dozens of people. Reading the names on the stones, it is clear that some families have lost more than one family member. There are no names of Slavic origin. This is a reminder of the descendants of that we are all brothers in the struggle with the enemy ethnicity unimportant. Proof tears touches plate dedicated to the unknown soldier, because how many of these heroes sacrificed themselves for the sake of our future.

By memorial always comes a lot of people. Some in a huge list of names looking for relatives to honor their heroic deeds. Many simply bring flowers to the monument and candles. Visiting such places even more eager to keep the peace over his head, which gave us these soldiers, and never to repeat this terrible war scenario.
