Nicholas Cathedral (Mogilev-Podolsky)

Light construction Nicholas Church adorns the central part of Mogilev-Podolsky. Do not know the Cathedral impossible. Special Byzantine style building and two-storey bell tower accurately represent this shrine.

Stone church, built in 1754 with donations of urban religious communities, many times been modified. In the course of several of them has been expanded territory and built a building stores. In the late 19th century, the city became a watchtower rectangular bell tower, still adorn the church.

Nicholas Church - one of the few places of worship in Ukraine, preserve the pristine interior and exterior decoration. No world wars nor the Soviet government have left their mark on the architecture of the building.

Today, thousands of tourists from all over Ukraine come to Nicholas Cathedral to pray to the image of St. Nicholas. According to the beliefs, the miraculous icon and can take illnesses and grief.

Nicholas Church keeps another treasure - a silver tabernacle. This item was donated to the temple of Alexander III in memory of Tsarevich Nicholas Alexandrovich. Today tabernacle can see all the visitors of the cathedral.
