Church of the Intercession, Poddubtsy
Not far from Lutsk , in the village of Poddubtsy, is a wonderful example of the architecture of the late Baroque - The nine Church of the Intercession. This temple in the form of a cross inscribed in the rotunda. To his great central tower has a small pair of towers with four sides.
Here everything looks solemn and magnificent. Facade of the church decorated with baroque gables and windows - stucco architraves. Earlier in the temple belonged Poddubtsah Catholic Church, when it acted monastery. In the 18th century the church was a body, a beautiful choir sang and played the whole Volyn known brass band.
In the 19th century the church became Orthodox. In Soviet times, began his desolation and destruction. Until 2005, this architectural monument was in poor condition. But the temple was restored - funds allocated state.
