Bianka Villa or Arts Palace

In Drohobych is one of the brightest samples of architectural style of Venetian Art Nouveau in Ukraine. Villa Bianca is still a favorite place for tourists.

Palace of Arts Villa Bianca was built in the late 19th - early 20th century. This two-story building with an ornate facade. Earlier this gorgeous house belonged to the doctor-radiologist J. Rotta and was considered the best house in the neighborhood. Beauty villa has been described in the novel B. Schultz "Spring". It was then that the house and became known as "Villa Bianca".

Today the building houses a museum villa "Drogobychina." Here paintings by B. Schultz, thematic exhibits, "Treasures of the graph Lyantskoronskogo." Some of the exhibits closer acquaint visitors with the times Boiko, arts and crafts Drohobych. The house of art are often held exhibitions and presentations.
