St. Elias Church
Located St. Elias Church a few kilometers north-west of the village of Leszno. Wooden temple is an architectural monument of national importance. The church was built in the late 17th century on the outskirts of the village.
The architecture of the church is amazing - the temple is built of wooden beams, which are decorated with ornaments in the style of the 17th century. The main feature of the temple - its western part is not on the foundation, and is supported by carved columns. It is also interesting iconostasis of the church: it was created in the 17-18 centuries and it is decorated with figures of the 12 apostles.
In Soviet times, the church was closed. It opened its doors to the faithful only to the acquisition of Ukraine`s independence.
