Reserve Berdo

"BERT" in Skolovskom district of Lviv region - a large conservation reserve Reserve. Its purpose is to conserve landscape areas and security of wild animals living in its territory.

Buffer zone of the reserve extends over an area of ​​1085 hectares, surrounded by picturesque forests, green hills and the two streams called Rosochy, Opole Voivodeship and Segolny. "BERT" strictly protected at the state level, as it is since 1984 a national treasure and a natural monument. Among latitudes unique landscape found rare species of vegetation, which in the 21st century were listed as endangered. These include: forest lily, beautiful crocus "Geyfelya" and bear bow. All that remained close due to the absence of traces of human activity.

The central place of the reserve is recognized as the backbone "BERT". Its uniqueness lies in the fact that here is found subalpine vegetation. The height, convenient for its life cycle, it is unusual and has been reduced by 1,150 meters. This phenomenon is considered to be an amazing and has no analogues in Ukraine. The landscape is extremely rich mountain plants, animals, insects and birds. Reserve "BERT" practicing transmit some species other reserves.
