Reserve Staritsy Dniester

Reserve "Staritsy Dniester" refers to the national environmental reserves. Against the background of the majority of reserves in Lviv region "Staritsy Dniester" - a precious jewel settled near the water Transnistria.

Formed "Staritsy" natural way, through many years of separation of the coastal waters of the river into separate lakes. Over the years, between the lakes and the Dniester generate greater part of the land on which began to breed rare species of animals and grow unusual vegetation.

Taking a walk in the surrounding nature reserve, you can find the Red Kite (endangered species of hawk birds that live in the western part of Europe and the south of Italy) and shrew or black stork. The famous stork with delightful black plumage and bright red legs lives here in decades. These endangered species are recognized and listed as endangered.
