Church of St. Mary Magdalene

The modern church of Mary Magdalene is located in the courtyard of a children`s polyclinic №1 in Kiev . The temple is located in the house where he lived and worked before the famous poet and composer Alexander Vertinsky.

In the early 20th century in Kiev, there were only 3 Mary Magdalene Church. The first temple at Shulyavka was destroyed in 1930, and in its place was built a school, two more temples at an orphanage and a girls` school also suffered during the revolution.
