Spiridonovskaya Church

Spiridonovskaya Church - Orthodox church, the main shrine of the village Shamraevka.   Construction of the church was carried out with the support of the Countess Alexandra Branitskaya in the middle of the 19th century. Previously, on the spot where now stands the stone church was an old wooden church.

Construction began in 1840 and lasted for 9 years. Its modern form Spiridonovskaya church received only in 1849.

Externally, the architecture of the church is quite simple. In the decoration are no excesses, only the facades of the church are decorated with stucco.   The temple has the shape of a cross, with a single extension - bath.   Spiridonovskaya church is an example of classical architecture provincial and has the status of an architectural monument of national importance.   Modern spiritual jewel - so you can call the temple in the village Shamraevka.
