Museum of the History of Korsun-Shevchenko battle Palace Lopukhins

Korsun-Shevchenko - one of the oldest cities in Ukraine. Building dates back to 1032 year, the city was established, with the active assistance of Yaroslav the Wise. In the city center on the banks of the river Ros is Lopukhins palace - a monument of architecture, which has its beauty for over three hundred years has attracted aesthetes and romantics all over Ukraine.

Construction of the palace was started in 1782 and lasted elder probed over a hundred years. An interesting fact is that the palace, which is now located almost in the center of Korsun-Shevchenko, created as a summer country residence for Prince Stanislaus Poniatowski.
