Church of St. Elizabeth in Hust Zakarpattia region is one of the most important attractions of the region. It is located in the city center, in a quiet and beautiful place. Reformed church was built in 13-14 century provincial style Gothic. The building has a strict and luxurious look that can be traced in all its details.
Today, the temple has the same form as in the 15th century. It is made in a rectangular shape and has arched windows, bell tower, arched entrance. The top tier of the bell tower of wood and adorned with several decorative lanterns. The complex of buildings form a square tower and a stone church.
Architectural structure refers to the ancient Church of Transcarpathia. Also, it has been used as a safe haven. In the history of the church, the local population has repeatedly used it as a shelter from enemy attacks. Around the perimeter of the building passes six-meter defensive wall surrounding it on all sides. The interior of the temple is a fragmentary frescoes within its walls since the 15th century. They depict many famous people, contemporaries of the era - the kings, generals, who at one time were canonized.
