The Building of Officers Assembly

In the 20th century in the building of the Officers` meeting seething life. The building was built in 1906 and performed in the classical style. Historic building includes a large hall for concerts and scores, classrooms and recreation officers, summer dance halls, outdoor theater. Even in winter life here I did not stop. The military showed films, dancing and playing billiards worked. In the days when there was no TV, the whole life of the city seethed in these areas.

In Soviet times, this place enjoyed great popularity because of the Schmidt case. The building Officers` Assembly came the trial of members of the mutiny on the cruiser "Ochakov". Now, about those events it recalls a rebel Schmidt monument that could be seen in front of the Officers` meeting. As well as an outdoor museum in the Soviet era, which in 40 years of its existence, has opened the door for half a million tourists.

Unfortunately, the building is empty and arrive in poor condition. However, it still represents a historical value for tourists
