All Saints Church

All Saints Church - one of the oldest temples Nikolaev . The church was founded in 1807 with the active support of the Commander of the Black Sea Fleet I. de Traverse. It was built on charitable funds admirals, local merchants and burghers. We sanctify the church year after the start of construction.

Temple is located near the old cemetery of the city. In architectural terms - a one-storey building made of stone in the shape of a cross. Above the entrance to the bell tower is placed. The temple can accommodate up to 500 believers at the same time. In the crypt of the church buried town planner and founder Mikhail Nikolayev Faleev. Not far from the church is the crypt of the founder of Kharkov University Karazin. In 1858, with the support of local merchants temple was expanded.

All Saints Church - only around Nikolaev temple that never closes. Therefore, the building has retained its original architectural appearance. Also in the Soviet times the walls of the temple holds many valuable icons, which were saved from other cathedrals. For many years, the church is the main place of comfort for all residents.
