Monastyrok tract, Foresters
Monastyrok stretched pretty tract near the village of Foresters , Ternopil region. Historical documents first mention of the area belongs to 1368 The tract is named in honor of the Basilian monastery that existed here in the 14-18 centuries.
During World War II, the monastery church, made of wood, was virtually destroyed. In 1941, it hosted the last service. The temple was in limbo and was used as farm buildings. In 1980, the temple was burned down, and soon the waterfront was transformed into a recreational area. In these areas in the early 2000s for a short time there was a restaurant named in honor of the tract, but under unknown circumstances, the building burned down. Thanks to the efforts of the villagers, the monastery was reconstructed. At the site of the temple was built a chapel and a Way of the Cross.
The main attraction of the tract - Devil stone scenic rock on which is carved a crucifix. Nearby is a miraculous source of healthy water.
