Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, Lychkovtsy

Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary located in the center of the village Lychkovtsy . Temple   made in the Renaissance style, it was built in the early 18th century. The inscription in Latin at the entrance indicates that in 1728 were carried out restoration work.

Like many other ancient shrines, near the present church was located before the cemetery. Here lies the soul of famous people Lyczkowskis edge. During the Soviet period the cemetery was demolished, and the church is closed. For a long time in the building of shrines stored chemicals.

Today the church in ruins, abandoned condition: moldy peeling walls, roof collapsed, indoor sprout trees and weeds. But, despite the alarm condition, the church allows to touch its ancient history, to feel the power and grandeur of the era.
