Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Assumption Church is located in bold. It was built in the period of 1818-1827 years distant, and belonged to the Catholic community in the city. The church was built in the neoclassical style, which characterized it as a vast and monumental structure, repeating the classical principles of church building. The construction of this historic monument was conducted under the auspices of the Savitsky, who provided funds to build a church on the site of an old wooden building.

The church is a building with two bell towers and a central tower that were destroyed during the struggle against religion Soviets. Assumption church building was first transformed into a cultural center, and then, in the course of restructuring - the town library. After more than 70 years of religious neglect, the building was reinvigorated in 2003. Deteriorating and partially destroyed the former church was again transferred to the Catholic church community of the city. At the moment, the building is being restored at the expense of the community.
