St. Joseph`s Church and monastery of Lazaritov began to build in 1747 on the idea of the mayor Izjaslava Prince Paul Charles Sangushko. The creator of the project - the royal court architect Paolo Fontana, who served in those days the prince lieutenant of artillery. In 1749, the Church, made in the late baroque style, was ready. At the same time actively cells were built for the monastery.
