Steblevskaya HPP
Steblevskaya HPP was built in 1931. It is located in the Korsun-Shevchenko district on the river Ros. During the Second World War, HPP has been destroyed, its restoration lasted until 1952.
GES provides more 2800 kW. For the construction of the facilities needed to significantly alter the landscape of the area. Due to the creation of the dam, part of the picturesque cliffs were flooded with water. Now Steblevskaya HPP is considered to be one of the oldest hydropower plants in Ukraine.
For lovers of visitors to the dam with a small viewing platform, with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Flying down water from the dam reminds unusual waterfall. But, at the same time, the power of hydroelectric energy allows to provide several districts of Cherkasy region. The main advantage of this park is the man-made waterfall, which is one of the largest waterfalls in the plains of Ukraine.
