Museum, Semyonovka
History Museum in Semenivtsi kept the memory of the history of the settlement and willingly shares it with visitors. Today the institution has collected about two thousand of exhibits are in 4 themed rooms.
History museum
Semenov museum founded and inaugurated in 1978. The opening is timed to the Day of Victory. The main activity of the institution was lighting history of the region, as well as collecting and showing interesting exhibits.
The museum exhibition
Funds institution has more than two thousand items, among which are:
- personal belongings and documents of famous countrymen;
- products of local craftsmen and tools;
- household items ages 17-19;
- industrial products and others.
The first room of the museum can learn about the history of crafts and trades, the establishment of the city as a whole. The second room highlights events of World War II. The third hall "Modern" tells about the culture, medicine, education and industry area.
Separately issued section "Countrymen - the pride of the land," which exhibited the works of famous artists. There is an exposition dedicated to the Chernobyl tragedy.
In the exhibition hall you can see the permanent and temporary exhibitions.
How to get there
History Museum located on the street Red Square. Alongside stands the Church of Our Lady of Kazan. A settlement is R65 highway. The town is located near the border between Ukraine and Russia.
Museum Hours: 8:00 to 17:00, with a break in the hour of 13:00. On Saturday shortened day: from 10:00 to 14:00. Sunday - closed.
